Objectives:
Identify programs, policies and practices directed by the HR function that are most effective for the organization
Identify HR programs, policies and practices that are ineffective for the organization
Identify opportunities for improvement to HR service delivery
Key Activities:
Conduct workshops and interviews with executives, managers and other "customers" of HR services to identify high-level areas of interest
Customize the HR Effectiveness Assessment tool to emphasize areas of interest
Distribute assessment surveys, collect results and analyze data
Develop recommendations, based on HCM best practices, to address improvement opportunities
Identify appropriate metrics for on-going measurement of success
Establish a plan for follow-up to ensure maximum return on the Assessment activity
